Ave Maria Home, in conjunction with our sister facility, St. Clare Health and Rehab, continues to monitor the always changing situation with COVID-19.  We continue to follow the recommendations from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the CDC, and the Department of Health.  We are continuing to provide love and concern for our residents.

Those Ave Maria elders who tested positive several weeks ago are no longer needing to be isolated in a separate location, based upon guidance from the Tennessee Department of Health this week.  It has now been over 14 days and no elder is showing any signs or symptoms of the virus.  They recommended we utilize the time-based strategy from the CDC. Below is the link if you are interested in reading about this strategy:

This is a difficult time for everyone.  Please be assured that you all remain in our prayers and we are working diligently to keep our staff and residents healthy.  We continue to allow window visits for immediate family members, but again, no one is allowed inside any facilities here on the campus.

If we can answer any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at 901-701-5999.  Ave Maria continues to take all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Sincerely,

Frank J. Gattuso, Jr.

Executive Director
