Ave Maria Home announces that effective Monday, September 18, Louis Milite will become the organization’s nursing home Administrator.

Louis will oversee the nine Green House® Homes at Ave Maria. He will be responsible for keeping them in compliance with state and federal guidelines and will be working with team members to keep a clean, safe, and positive environment for staff, visitors, and residents.

Louis, a graduate of Syracuse University with a master’s degree in public administration, brings a unique perspective to the role having more than 25 years of experience in the areas of healthcare administration, marketing, strategic planning, negotiation, and troubleshooting. He maintains an active Administrator’s license in NC, SC, TX, TN, AR and GA, and most recently served in this leadership role overseeing the operation and management of Galloway Health and Rehabilitation.

He is known for building strong and meaningful relationships with his staff, families, and the broader community—excelling in the leadership of organizational change and achieving organizational goals. He is passionate about creating a positive environment where our team can grow in their career and serve the best interests of our residents.

Louis is a member of The Gerontology Society and the American College of Healthcare Administrators. Outside of his professional work, Louis enjoys traveling, running, reading, and watching SEC football. He and his wife, Annette, who is a Registered Nurse with Methodist Health Care, have lived in the Memphis area for 20 years.
