Ave Maria is pleased to welcome Brandi Calatayud, R.N., orthopedic nurse practitioner, who will be working with Ave Maria residents in need of orthopedic rehabilitation.

A dedicated AG-ACNP with over nine years of registered nursing experience both in administration and bedside, Brandi’s background as a registered nurse includes medical surgical, orthopedic, abdominal organ transplant and patient care coordination. As a AG-ACNP student, she worked in emergency and internal medicine, critical care, and cardiovascular surgery. Her graduate work included orthopedics, and internal and emergency medicine.

Brandi is ANCC board certified and received her AG-ACNP degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She is certified in basic life support, as well as advanced cardiac life support.
